Integrated manufacturing for pickup truck side panels includes automatic component feeding, assembly, welding and final marrying of left and right inner and outer panels and rear reinforcement assemblies. There are two parallel, 170 ft. long systems.

Engineered Blank Welding:

Newcor has designed and developed a unique line of resistance welding machines that combine the proven Mash seam welding and planishing processes with Newcor’s specially-designed fixed or travelling clamp techniques. This provides production capability that is an economical alternative to laser-welded engineered blanks because of lower equipment and operating costs. Machines and system can produce flat pre-engineered stamping blanks of weldable steel in various materials, thickness and coatings.
